How to Update Expedia Travel Ads Activity Targets

Overview

Hotel owners or Admins can switch the target between ROAS and Manual CPC.


Update Activity Targets

Step 1: Select Hotel

  • In the up left hand, select the hotel that you want to manage the HMP Expedia Travel Ads Activity from the dropdown list.

Step 2: Click Activities

  • In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Activities.

Step 3: Update Performance Target

  • Click on the Edit button on the right side of the Performance Target item

  • Select the target that you want to switch from the dropdown list

  • Click on the Save Changes button

    • If you switch to an ROAS target, you need to set an ROAS target value

    • Min ROAS is 0.1 with one decimal allowed

Step 4: Update Market

  • Click on Edit button on the right side of the Market item
  • Select the markets that you want to update and un-select the markets you want to remove
  • Click on Save Changes button.

Step 5: Update Travel Window

  • Click on the Edit button on the right side of the Travel Window item
  • Toggle on the travel windows and toggle off the travel windows that you don't want to advertise.

How to Update Booking Network Sponsor Ads Activity Targets

Overview

Hotel owner or admin can switch the target between ROAS and Manual CPC.


Update Activity Targets

Step 1: Select Hotel

  • In the up left hand, select the hotel that you want to manage the HMP Booking Network Sponsor Ads Activity from the dropdown list.

Step 2: Click Activities

  • In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Activities.

Step 3: Update Performance Target

  • Click on Edit button on the right side of the Performance Target item

  • Select the target that you want to switch from the dropdown list

  • Click on Save Changes button

    • If you switch to ROAS target, you need to set a ROAS target value

    • Min ROAS is 0.1 with one decimal allowed

Step 4: Update Market

  • Click on Edit button on the right side of Market item
  • Select the markets that you want to update and un-select the markets you want to remove
    • Selecting “Global” means you will advertise globally
  • Click on Save Changes button.
